Mr.Marley and Mr.Dickey,
After our meeting earlier this morning met with Inspector Jeff Roberts
of Canaveral Fire Rescue.Based on our conversation the fire department
did not check anything pertaining to the minimum width/clearance
requirements when it comes to 2 approved parking spaces North of the
plaza as per their "code" they i.e. Fire Department are only concerned
about access to their vehicles in the front and not about access about
the access to the back.
Given the above we're officially requesting that the city to inspect
and validate if the approved spots North of the plaza do indeed satisfy
the minimum requirement as stated in the code. When providing your
response after the inspection/validation please cite the code which was
used for the purposes of inspection/validation. Would appreciate if
you're able to provide advance notice of when you might be conducting
the inspection to make myself present.
Regards
Sri
P.S. Will send a summary of our meeting from this morning later in the
afternoon
