HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW MAY MONTH END (billed totals overstated)Hello Chris,
I am just sending this just to you first, since you generate the
monthly reports we receive.
We need to bring to your attention that the dollar grand totals on the
CC GBG BILLED reports are overstated due to multiple duplicate entries
for same account. I have attached a Overstated CC GBG BILLED 06-05-13
spreadsheet that I have sorted and highlighted to show the accounts with
3 to 9 duplicate entries for nine accounts that I found. These
duplicate entries are included in the grand total dollar numbers.
Attached is also a word document of Billing System screen prints that I
believe are what caused the bad data. The “Cancel/Rebill Bill”
transactions show details of multiple duplicate line entries. One of
the accounts is a COMP code CANS, but the number of record entries on
the CC COMM GBG SOILS-CANS report was correct.
The dollars are over stated by a total of $1,040.64. We use these
totals to pay our Solid Waste Collection Contractor. We do not want to
pay them for money we will never receive.
Please look into this for us and let us know your solution.
Thank you,
Lonnie
