Mr.Dickey, In order to ensure that all our times are used effectively and to avoid unnecessary back and forth during the meeting we're herewith submitting the questions for which we need answers . The questions are: 1.Define fire lanes. 2.What is the minimum clearance required for vehicular traffic? Does this requirement take into consideration: commercial delivery trucks coming to deliver to the businesses in the plaza. Provide citation of code. 3.Is this minimum clearance the same all around the plaza? Provide citation 4.What is the actual clearance in the north after the approval of the new parking spaces? 5. Were allowances made for vehicles being parked haphazardly thereby spilling out of the newly approved parking space hindering the movement and reducing the minimum clearance requirement in the north taken into consideration? 6. The parking issues have compounded because of the illegal parking spaces in the west of the property. Now are you stating that it's outside the purview of the city to enforce? If yes then why should the landlord seek your approval for 5 spots temporarily or for expansion of the parking on the west side over the storm water drain when it's your contention that you cannot do anything on the west side. 7.Are you stating that the city will do nothing even if the pathway on the west side is blocked or disrupts the free flow of traffic? Then does it mean the city doesn't care about access to delivery vehicles on the west side ? So wild wild west parking on the west side is legitimate? And city has no responsibility in the matter? 8.Who is responsible and what should we do : a )If our trucks and that of our suppliers cannot access the back of our store due to lack of clearance on the North,South and West b) if our back door is blocked 9.Even on 27th of January email you stated that Southern Charm had 102 seats now in your last email it changed to 117 along with some other number. How did this happen? 10.Between our meeting on 16th January till yesterday how many times did you or your office talk to the landlord and /or the owner of southern Charm Cafe either in person or phone. Both formally and informally. 11.For vehicles parked in the side (undesignated spaces) adjacent to Edible on the south side will there be code enforcement if the minimum requirement for clearance is not there due to illegal parking? 12.How many approved parking spaces were available in the plaza as of 31st December 2016? Provide a breakdown of required spots per unit from that time. 13.How many approved parking spaces were available in the plaza as of 30th June 2017? Provide a breakdown of required spots per unit from that time. 14.How many approved parking spaces were available in the plaza as of 31st December 2018? Provide a breakdown of required spots per unit from that time. 15.How many approved parking spaces were available in the plaza as of 30th June 2019? Provide a breakdown of required spots per unit from that time. 16.How many approved parking spaces are available in the plaza as of yesterday? Can we take for certainty that the breakdown of required spots per unit provided yesterday will not be changed again? 17.What was the increase in seating during Southern Charm Cafe's first expansion in 2017-2018? 18.What was the increase in seating during Southern Charm Cafe's second expansion in 2019? Looking forward to getting clear answers without any prevarications.Appreciate your time and efforts in this matter.
