MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 26,2019
A Meeting of the Culture and Leisure Services Board was held on September 26,2019, at Cape
Canaveral City Hall, 100 Polk Avenue,Cape Canaveral,Florida. The meeting was called to order
at 5:30 p.m.by Chairperson Gene Petre.The Secretary called the roll.

Approval of Meeting Minutes of July 25,2019
Motion by Mr. Raymond to approve meeting minutes of July 25,2019 as written—seconded by
Ms.McPeek.Vote on the motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS•
■ Mr. Vergara announced the upcoming events.
■ Mr. Holmes inquired about participants in the upcoming Beach&Kite Festival.
■ Mr.Petre inquired about the traffic wrap project.
NEW BUSINESS:
■ Board interviewed both applicants.
■ Motion by Mr.Petre to recommend City Council appoint Kathy Parks and Joel Fair to the
Culture and Leisure Services Advisory Board,seconded by Mr.Raymond.Vote on the
motion carried unanimously.
■ Mr.Petre and Mr.Raymond presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for their service.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Mr. Holmes made a motion to adjourn — seconded by Ms.
McPeek. Vote on the motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
