HomeMy WebLinkAboutDowned power line on Oak Lane 11/15/2016 To: Cape Canaveral Mayor Robert Hoog, On 11/14/2016 @ 4:00 pm the power company removed the power cable laying in my front yard. The problem has NOT been solved! The next time a large truck hits the power line the same thing will happen. Next time I may not notice the downed power line when I take out the trash!! What is your plan to solve this problem? If you could respond by using the reply all so that Governor Rick Scott will be informed of your plan to solve this problem. 11/11/2016 To: Cape Canaveral Mayor Robert Hoog, On 3/28/2016 I informed you about the safety issue with large trucks brushing into the power lines in front of my house. This problem has been ongoing since your friend built his housing development across the street with a faulty survey and displaced Oak Lane 12 feet north. Even after I took a video of a medium size truck coming within 4 inches the power lines and actually watched the garbage truck brush the power lines, you continue to ignore this safety hazard! Now the power line is laying on the ground in front of my house! THIS DANGER NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!!!!
