Mosh,
We are still considering the application of the Sign Code to
your situation. We will meet with you next week to discuss our
findings.

Mosh,
Staff has given considerable thought to the
appropriateness of a helicopter tour operation at the Beachwave Complex
property. At this time, Staff does not support this use at the
Beachwave location given existing residential uses in the area and the
possibility that an assisted living facility will be constructed
adjacent to the property. If you decide to pursue approval of a
helicopter tour operation at this location, a Planned Development (PD)
process is available to you. It involves preparation of a conceptual
plan, meeting with the Development Review Committee, recommendation from
Planning & Zoning Board, and approval by the City Council. I can
provide you more information on the Planned Development (PD) process if
you choose to pursue it.
I am meeting today with Todd and Glenn regarding
interpretation of the sign code and your requests for ground and wall
signage. I will keep you apprised of our progress.
