General contractor would like to use fire retardant plywood in lieu of metal deck on the copula roofs so he can secure the concrete tile. Per FBC 2007 which we fall under for this project: Section 603.1.- 1 - 1.3 fire retardant wood roof construction is permitted. Can you please review and approve and we will provided revised plan.
