HomeMy WebLinkAboutRecords Destruction & Disposition
Good afternoon Chris & Jim,
It feels great to finally get to this phase of a project the City has
been working on for such a long time. As I mentioned in the
conversations I had with each of you respectively, I have prepared an
Excel spreadsheet (see attached) that includes the following tabs
located at the bottom of the workbook and the total number of boxes to
pull for destruction/shredding:
City Clerk – 25
Finance – 217
Building – 13
City Manager – 12
Leisure – 2
Public Works – 6
Human Resources – 3
PULL FOR REVIEW – 29
TOTAL = 307
We anticipate that some of the boxes listed under the PULL FOR REVIEW
tab may end up going back on the shelf as well as the boxes that have
been set aside already for destruction – a portion of those will
probably be left behind.
I will be sending an email to Professional Data Storage & Delivery,
Inc. (PDS)/Cross-Cut Shredding, Inc. shortly requesting their services
at Business Archives on Friday, August 1st at 8:45am (Angie and I will
be there at 8:30am).
Once again, if you have questions or need help, please don’t hesitate
to call or email us.
Thank you and we will see you soon!
Mia
