HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Mr HoogGlenn,
Thanks.
The window signage (at one time) was complaint with the BCSO
requirements.
There were certain windows left clear near the transaction area, with
no merchandise and that satisfied the BCSO.
However, Mr. Hoog explained to me that they have since placed
merchandise in those windows. If true, they would no longer be in
compliance.
I discussed this with Sgt. Pikus Thursday night after the CEB meeting.
He will check it out.

Todd:
As you know Mr. Hoog attended the Code Enforcement Board meeting last
night. Prior to the meeting he approached me and asked what I thought
about the signage issue at the Beach Wave Complex. I responded by saying
“the signage meeting the requirement of the sign code”. He further
mentioned the BCSO requirement of visibility, I informed him that it was
my understanding that the BCSO discussed that with Mosh and the current
condition was compliant.
In addition, he mentioned the outside storage issue which I responded
by, “it is my understanding that the City has received an request for a
special exception for outside displays”.
Thought I would share this with you.
Respectfully,
Glenn Pereno, Building Official
