Additionally, please notify Gary (Building Official) of the status and whether it continues after the night-time visit by your deputy. Gary - please share with property owner, Mosh Gal city code section 34-153 and issue a NOV as necessary based on the deputy’s investigation. Our beach, actually being the Atlantic Ocean; may seem different than the normal Gulf or Lake beaches you are accustomed to. Every day the waves bring new and different items to our shores, and the seaweed is among the items that washes up regularly. During the times the ocean is rough, more seaweed is usually seen. Our city just finished cleaning the beaches from our south boundary to the Port just last week. We do this when we are permitted, but during the time of Turtle nesting, which is from the Month of May thru November, nothing can disturb the Turtle nests. We will continue to clean the beaches, until the first turtle appears. Linda , thank you for the heads up on the Miniature Golf Business noise. I will forward this to our Code Enforcement Officer to contact the operator, and remind him of our noise ordinance, even though he is in a Commercial Zoning District; the same applies to the entire City. Thank You for selecting our area. and we will continue to improve the Quality of Living as we can. If I can be of any assistance, my home phone number is: 321-784-5694, and please feel free to call. I do not have a computer at home, and only use this one at City Hall in the evening, when it is available; thus my replies by e-mail may not be timely, so the phone may be useful to you. The beach has a lot of seaweed. Wouldn't it be nicer if it was cleaned up around once a month? The minature golf course on the corner of Central and Astronaut plays its music much too loud. Please have them turn it down. Don't you think that the residents of the assisted living facility that will be built here will be very unhappy with rock and roll at 2AM? Thanks.
