HomeMy WebLinkAboutSignage - Pietro's - 8801 Astronaut BlvdTodd – would you please take a look at this email before I send it out.
Thanks!
Good afternoon Paul. I have researched the Sign Code and other City
records and have determined the following related to signage at
Pietro’s. Per the City Code, each storefront of a building (Pietro’s
and Beach Wave) can have up to two wall-mounted signs and share one
ground-mounted sign. However, on May 30, 2013, at the request of the
property owner, the City’s Board of Adjustment granted a variance to
allow one of the permitted signs allotted to the Pietro’s storefront to
be relocated to the Beach Wave storefront. This resulted in the
Pietro’s storefront being limited to one wall-mounted sign – which you
currently have. As a result, no additional wall-mounted signage is
allowed on your store. Regarding the awning which we discussed, as long
as there is no “signage” associated with the awning, this can be erected
once a permit is issued by the City’s Building Department.
Please let me know if you have any further questions. Dave
