HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Jungle Village (5)Brian The water fall is not leaking. The check valve for the pump was stuck with debris and could not close shut. Because the check valve was not closed all the water that is held in the top pool (behind the elephant) drained to the bottom pool and overflowed it, that also caused the pump to not be primed and could not be turned on. That is the water that overflowed onto the sidewalk. No reason to be concerned about the blue in the water either, it is nontoxic (see attached). The check valve was fixed the same day by 3. The person you received the complaint from is an employee of the city (I think public works). He has come into my store a few times in the past to tell my employees that something is faulty the same day it occurs. I doubt everyone in the city gets this special treatment. It is not his job to come into my store and waste my employees time on things that are not part of my employees job. He also came about a sprinkler that broke that same day and I was already aware of and that was fixed that same day. I am more than competent in maintaining my property, and it shows, part of my day to day operation is fix things that break. I don’t need this guy to come harass my business the moment something breaks. With all that said please advise this employee that if he steps foot on my property again I will call the cape Canaveral sheriff department and I will get him trespassed off my property.
