I freely speak with Councilmembers all the time. As I mentioned earlier today, since I wrote the opinion I hadn't heard back from anyone at the City. I wanted to know whether you agreed with my opinion or not regarding the current Code because Councilman Morrison was asking me the status. I informed him this afternoon that you agreed with the opinion and understood it. But, for the record, I was also getting back to him to discuss legislative regulatory policy regarding the parking issue and a few other unrelated regulatory items including my prior experiences with designated parking areas in residential front yards in Winter Springs. I dealt with this issue extensively in Winter Springs and discussed it with Councilman Morrison. Winter Springs dealt with this issue in a more direct and artful way and perhaps Cape Canaveral may want to focus its attention on legislative policy.
