The ordinance was not followed for lien reduction, the closing did not
occur per the agreement timeline, the permit was not pulled in
accordance with the agreement timeline and the permit was not issued to
the owner of the property. The bully tactic of banging the gavel and
declaring “closed” does not make it closed for the citizens and it is
not closed for me.

Hi Pat. We have previously covered the topic of the real estate closing
for 305 Surf. Regarding the demolition permit, see attached. Note that
per the Agreement approved by Council, the demolition permit was
required to be issued within 14 days of closing, which in this case
would have been April 18th. You will find that the demolition permit
was issued on April 16th. Staff considers this matter closed. Dave
