The reason for the reduced Staff cost with regular mail is that there are a lot less “touches” compared to a certified, return receipt letter. The agenda cover does not quote a $7.50 postage rate. It does say there would be a “cost to the public” of $7.50 per certified/return receipt letter. 2. Please clarify your question for #2. 3. Based on a 500 ft. radius (as required by City Code) from the affected parcels for the upcoming City comprehensive rezonings, there are 6,907 unique account numbers that would have to be noticed. This includes: * For the residential rezoning — 3116 IDs; * For the conservation rezoning — 972 IDs; * For public/recreation rezoning — 2819 IDs. I will forward you a copy of the spreadsheet in a separate email. It may have to be separated into several separate emails as it is a massive file.
