HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW Public Records Request - Approved Site Plan - 100 E Central Ave (58)Please see below. Thanks, From: Patrick Campbell [mailto:patrickcampbell@cfl.rr.com] Sent: Wednesday, May 8, 2019 6:36 AM To: Michael German <M.German@cityofcapecanaveral.org> Cc: Daniel LeFever <D.LeFever@cityofcapecanaveral.org> Subject: FW: Public Records Request - Approved Site Plan - 100 E. Central Ave. Michael, I still have not been provided any documentation that the parking at the west end of the subject property meets the requirements of the city ordinances. There are cars parked there every day all day and all night long. Code enforcement claims they belong to the owner of the property. While I don’t believe that to be true my first need is to validate the parking is within code. Specifically that the parking surface was approved by the city, either at the time of construction or at a later date via an approved permit. Have you made any progress in locating the information? From: Patrick Campbell [mailto:patrickcampbell@cfl.rr.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2018 4:17 AM To: 'Daniel LeFever' <D.LeFever@cityofcapecanaveral.org <mailto:D.LeFever@cityofcapecanaveral.org> > Subject: RE: Public Records Request - Approved Site Plan - 100 E. Central Ave. I have looked again on the city’s access pages. The file sent me does not show the west side of the plan. My questions are about parking and the provision for parking done during construction. There is a question about code compliance on 100 E. Central for parking on the grass, specifically the west side. Code enforcement, Chris, provided this: “Now to answer your specific questions, the pavers at 100 E. Central are not loosely thrown down and improperly installed as you state. They are full size concrete blocks turned with the open portion facing up making them permeable. I was informed by the owner that the blocks were installed during the construction of this phase of the facility and the concrete driveway is the permanent border.” From a previous code enforcement hearing against Dottie’s Bar (paving needs engineering review) and Southern Charm (parking on the grass not allowed) I am looking at other areas that are commercial but have people parking on the grass. I am trying to validate that an approved provision for parking at the west side of 100 E. Central was done. Can you please resend the plan that shows at least the west end of the property?
