NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
The City Council of the City of Cape Can-
averal, Florida will hold a Public Hearing
for the purpose of discussing Resolution
No. 2019-02 and Ordinance Nos. 06-2019
and 07-2019 in the Cape Canaveral City
Hall Council Chambers, 100 Polk Avenue,
Cape Canaveral, Florida at 6:00 P.M.,
Tuesday, March 19, 2019. The Resolution
and Ordinances may be inspected in
their entirety in the City Clerk's Office
during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., Monday -Friday). Interested parties
may appear at the meeting and be
heard with respect to the proposed Res-
olution and Ordinances.
Resolution No. 2019-02
A Resolution of -the City Council -cif-the--
City
f the—
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida; adopt-
ing the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida
Wastewater and Stormwater Facilities
Plan; authorizing the submittal of the
Plan to the Florida Department of Envi-
ronmental Protection; providing for the
repeal of prior inconsistent resolutions,
severability and an effective date.
Ordinance No. 06-2019
An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Brevard County, Florida; relating to
the State Revolving Fund Program; pur-
suant to Section 2.12(5) of the City
Charter authorizing one or more loan
applications to be filed with the State of
Florida Department of Environmental
Protection in a total amount not to ex-
ceed six million five hundred thousand
dollars for purposes of funding certain
wastewater and stormwater improve-
ment projects; authorizing the loan
agreement(s); establishing pledged reve-
nues; designating authorized represen-
tatives; providing assurances; providing
for the repeal of prior inconsistent ordi-
nances and resolutions, severability and
an effective date.
Ordinance No. 07-2019
An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Brevard County, Florida; relating to
the State Revolving Fund Program; pur-
suant to Section 2.12(5) of the City
Charter amending Ordinance No. 01-
2013 to increase the total authorized
loan amount by an additional eight hun-
dred thousand dollars for purposes of
funding certain pending wastewater
and stormwater improvement projects;
providing for the full force and effect of
Ordinance No. 01-2013 as amended
herewith, repeal of prior inconsistent or-
dinances and resolutions, severability
-- and -an -effective -date.
The
nd-aneffective-date.The City Council reserves the right to
continue or postpone hearings to a date
certain without re -advertising. Pursuant
to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the
City hereby advises the public that: If a
person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Council with respect to
any matter considered at this meeting,
that person will need a record of the
proceedings, and for such purpose that
person may need to ensure that a verba-
tim record of the proceedings is made,
which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute
consent by the City for the introduction
or admission into evidence of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor
does it authorize challenges or appeals
not otherwise allowed by law. In accord-
ance with the Americans with Disabili-
ties Act: all interested parties may at-
tend this Public Meeting. The facility is
accessible to the physically handicapped.
