NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
The City Council of the City of Cape Can-
averal, Florida will hold a Public Hearing
for the purpose of discussing Ordinance
Nos. 02-2019 and 05-2019 in the Cape
Canaveral City Hall Council Chambers,
100 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Flori-
da at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 19.
2019. The Ordinances may be inspected
in their entirety in the City Clerk's Office
during business hours (8:30 am. to 5:00
Monday:Friday)._ Interested parties
may appear at the meeting and be
heard with respect to the proposed ordi-
nances.
Ordinance No. 02-2019
An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Brevard County, Florida; changing
the Zoning Map designation of certain
real property generally located at 8811
Sea Shell Lane and more particularly de-
picted and legally described on Exhibit
-A" attached hereto, from "C-1
Commercial Low Density" to "R-1 Resi-
dential Low Density'; providing for the
repeal of prior inconsistent ordinances
and resolutions, severability and an ef-
fective date.
Ordinance No. 05-2019
An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Brevard County. Florida; adopting
the 2018 International Property Mainte-
nance Code as amended herein; provid-
ing for the repeal of prior inconsistent
ordinances and resolutions; incorpora-
tion into the Code: severability and an
effective date.
The City Council reserves the right to
continue or postpone hearings to a date
certain without re -advertising Pursuant
to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the
City hereby advises the public that: If a
person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Council with respect to
any matter considered at this meeting,
that person will need a record of the
proceedings, and for such purpose that
person may need to ensure that a verba-
tim record of the proceedings is made,
which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute
consent by the City for the introduction
or admission into evidence of otherwise
Inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor
does it authorize challenges or appeals
not, otherwise—allowed - by- law. -In- accord
--
ance with the Americans with Disabili-
ties Act' all interested parties may at-
tend this Public Meeting. The facility Is
accessible to the physically handicapped.
