Mr. Schmitz,
In response to your request for records received by the City on 10/17/2018 requesting: “copies of
all documents in your files and/or records, since 1/2017, regarding my case. This includes all
correspondence in any form, with any party, either government or any branch, or private parties,
as well as all photos, documents and notations of any kind obtained since January 1, 2017.” I am
informing you that City Staff has identified/analyzed records ready for you to inspect and/or be
copied for a fee.
As stated in the attached fee Estimate in the amount of $378.50:
“Upon receipt of payment, the request will be processed. The above is an ESTIMATE ONLY.
The actual cost will be determined upon finalizing the request. Should the actual cost exceed the
advanced payment, a final payment will be required prior to releasing the records, as well as any
additional records. If the actual cost is less than the advanced payment, a refund will be made to
the requestor.”
I attempted to contact you by phone twice today, 11/2/2018 at 10:27 a.m. and 10:28 a.m., to
acknowledge your request and inform you the records are ready for inspection, but the call went
unanswered. I was unable to leave a voicemail message due to the fact the voicemail box for 321-
783-1811 has not been set-up yet as the automated voice stated.
If you are still interested in inspecting or having any copies made of the records you seek or you
have questions, please contact me at 321-868-1220 x207. You may also stop by City Hall anytime
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
