HomeMy WebLinkAboutUntitled (2)Joshua, The Ocean Woods Board of Director’s has selected a contractor to replace the railroad ties lining our beach path with a concrete block type retaining wall. This wall varies in heights depending on ground elevation (mostly 2 foot height). This wall will begin at Ridgewood Avenue and extend to the pavilion at the beach entrance. Both Ocean Woods and Ocean Oaks are in agreement with this plan. It will be a deterrent to those that now cross the path from Harbor Drive to park on Ocean Oaks and City property. We understand there’s a utility easement along the path and access will be blocked at the Harbor Drive Circle. Both Ocean Woods and Ocean Oaks have agreed to grant utility access at the Ridgewood Ave path entrance. The selected vendor will be seeking permits from the city; however, prior to contacting them we’re asking your guidance on what we propose. Please contact me directly should you have questions on any aspect of this project. Respectfully, Donna Lugo Florida has a very broad public records law.
