He quietly absented himself, returned to our north balcony, and observed that most of the discussions seemed to relate to property north of the sand path, which I think was clearly defined at our meeting at City Hall, ie., Ocean Woods has the responsibility for maintenance of the sand path easement and owns the property north of the easement. Ron also noted that only you actually stepped to the south side of the sand path, south of the line of Oleanders, and gestured at where you felt the north boundary of city-owned might be. That was the north line of city property that I had indicated to Deborah that I wished discussed. I have taken a series of photos to describe my interest in defining where the City of Cape Canaveral is responsible for maintenance, and where Ocean Oaks might be responsible for maintenance. Our issue is that there is intrusion by both palms and seagrapes growing unattended on City property, which may eventually affect our lighting standards and globes, as well as access for high profile emergency vehicles transiting the property with low overhanging branches of, primarily, live oaks. I have attached a document of annotated photos which I hope will help you, Deborah, and the City arborist decide on a course of action which corrects the concerns we have, as outlined in the annotations. You are welcome to share this email and these photos with anyone who might have an interest in the issue. Last, Ron says that not 15 minutes after your telephone conversation with him, two seagrape branches snapped during a storm, one not 20 feet from the lighting globe he cited as “at risk” during our meeting at City Hall. The broken branch with the globe in view is one of the photos attached. I thank you and Deborah for your concern with respect to this issue. Could you also forward Deborah's contact information? She didn't have business cards available on the day we met with you and Anthony Garganese. There are potato vines growing in the Ridgewood Avenue Extension area and taking over quickly. I'm not sure if you are able to see them in the photos below. Are you making any progress in having this property (Ridgewood Avenue Extension) transferred back to Ocean Oaks and Ocean Woods?
