HomeMy WebLinkAbout305 Surf (89)Mike – had a lengthy conversation with Anthony earlier today about 305 Surf. This is the plan: 1. Roof – Have Brian get updated photos (today/tomorrow) from the property behind 305 and forward to Anthony. In this way we can properly document the current condition of the roof without having to enter property. Make sure Brian has a good camera that can zoom. Anthony is going to prepare a letter similar to previous letter but without reference of entering property. We are creating a record that indicates City’s efforts to remedy the nuisance condition. 2. Pool – Start a new case under the abatement section/process on the pool. Anthony is going to prepare a letter based upon the 1985 Unsafe Building Code and the 1998 IPMC that we will send to Mr. Smitz. Does anyone have copies of these codes? This is critical that Anthony gets a copy of each of these codes. He does not have access to them online. Patsy can assist with copying, etc. 3. Other violations – the important question here is…are there any other violations at the property that rise to the level of abatement? If no, then let’s start a new Chapter 162 case on them. Anthony – if I misspoke on any of the items above, please let us know. <mailto:http://www.cityofcapecanaveral.org/> Launch your connection… <mailto:https://www.facebook.com/CityofCapeCanaveral> <mailto:https://www.instagram.com/cityofcapecanaveral/> <mailto:https://www.linkedin.com/company/city-of-cape-canaveral-the> <mailto:https://twitter.com/CapeCanaveralFL> Florida has a very broad public records law.
