HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE 305 Surf Dr (8)Thanks Brian. Can you give me a little more background prior to Feb of
2017. Perhaps include a blurb about the CEB giving the owner 6 months to
come into compliance. Thanks.

Subject: 305 Surf Dr.
Sir,
In reference to 305 Surf Dr., case #15-73 was presented to the code
enforcement board on 23 February 2017. The code enforcement Board
unanimously found the property in violation and instituted a lien on the
property in the amount of $100.00 for the first day and $50.00 a day
there after until the property is brought into compliance. The current
lien amount as of 19 Sept 2017 is $10,450.00.
On 19 Sept 2017 I conducted a site visit and observed the fence on the
east side of the property has fallen down due to the recent hurricane.
Because of the fence falling down this has created a safety issue with
the pool in the rear of the property, I contacted the Assistant City
Attorney, via email, to inquire about what steps we can legally take to
secure the property. The Assistant City Attorney is not in the office
due to damage to her property caused by the hurricane and will be back
on the 20th of Sept at which time she will respond to my inquiry.
If you need any other information please let me know.
Thank you,
Brian
