A Policy Regarding
Maximum Impervious Surface Area for One-and-Two-Family Dwellings

DEFINITION:
Per Sec. 90-116. - Definitions.
Impervious surface means a surface which is highly resistant to infiltration by water.
POLICY:
Unless otherwise addressed by Local, State or Federal Regulations, the maximum impervious surface area for any one-and-two-family dwelling parcel shall be 66 2/3%. This shall not be
construed as a waiver of any other restriction (i.e., easements, setbacks, covenants, etc.).
Exception: Staff may accept an engineered site-specific evaluation.
