NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
The City Council of the City of Cape Can-
averal, Florida will hold a Public Hearing
for the purpose of discussing ordinance
No. 03-2018 in the Cape Canaveral City
Hall Council Chambers, 100 Polk Avenue,
Cape Canaveral, Florida at 6 P.M., Tues-
day, May 15, 2018. The Ordinance may
be inspected in its entirety in the City
Clerk's Office during business hours (8:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday -Friday). Inter-
ested parties may appear at the meeting
and be heard with respect to the pro-
posed ordinance.
Ordinance No. 03-2018
An Ordinance of the City of Cape Canav-
eral, Brevard County, Florida; providing
for a 20 -foot minimum townhouse unit
width; increasing the minimum lot
widths and adjusting the minimum lot
areas accordingly; establishing provisions
governing nonconforming townhouse
structures and lots; providing relief for
multiple -family and two-family dwell-
ings existing prior to October 4, 1988
which were built in accordance with
townhouse standards from certain mini-
mum lot width and setback require-
ments; providing for the repeal of prior
inconsistent ordinances and resolutions,
incorporation into the Code, severability
and an effective date.
The City Council reserves the right to
continue or postpone hearings to a date
certain without re -advertising. Pursuant
to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the
City hereby advises the public that: If a
person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Council with respect to
any matter considered at this meeting,
that person will need a record of the
Proceedings, and for such purpose that
person may need to ensure that a verba-
tim record of the proceedings is made,
which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based. This notice does not constitute
consent by the City for the introduction
or admission into evidence of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor
does it authorize challenges or appeals
not otherwise allowed by law. In accord-
ance with the Americans with Disabili-
ties Act: all interested parties may at-
tend this Public Meeting. The facility is
accessible to the physically handicapped.

vance of the meeting.
