HomeMy WebLinkAboutUntitled (16)David – this is the email we have generated to Daniel Corp re: the
sanitary sewer.
Laila - I have had a chance to meet with the City’s Public Works Staff
to discuss what role the City can play with respect to providing
sanitary sewer to the proposed Holiday Inn on Columbia Drive. In short,
the City is able to support:
* The installation of a gravity line (non-pressurized only) from
the Holiday Inn to lift station #6; or
* A temporary provision of sanitary service from the Port until a
permanent solution from the south is available.
As you know, the City has requested an easement from LBA north from
Lift Station 6, and the developer has agreed, but only after 3 years
have passed after market stabilization.
As I have previously indicated, the City is willing to discuss the
granting of sewer impact fee credits to help offset the cost of required
line extensions. If you have any questions related to these options, or
have any others, we would be happy to discuss them with your team.
