HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Cape Canaveral Holiday Inn (3)Richard – my suggestion is that you get with Ralph Lotspeich, our Public
Work Services Director, prior to spending money on any potential sewer
extension. My understanding is that the City is not supportive of a
force main in the FDOT right-of-way. However, Ralph is the guy to talk
with. Dave

Dave,
A quick update. We have employed a surveyor to complete the topographic
and utility survey required for the sewer line connection to as shown on
the previous sketch.

Thank you for the update Dave.
As the alternative, I am attaching a sketch of the route we
previously discussed along A1A to the Racetrac property.

Hi Richard. We have discussed the granting of a utility
easement with the developer of the dual-brand hotel, as part of their
request for site plan approval. They have verbally indicated that they
will grant the requested utility easement - to their northerly property
line - 3 years after stabilization of the hotel(s). Be aware that this
easement is not required by City Code and approval of the site plan
cannot be withheld due to this item.
We would be happy to explore interim measures with you.
