All,
FYI - status update:
Jeff & I spoke with Tom Hermansen this morning on the phone.
• We will use the existing easement through Tom’s property for the new
relocated force main.
• We will keep the utilities as close as possible to the property line.
• The proposed driveway will need to be constructed south of that
property line, with the understanding that:
1. The City’s goal is to assure access to the utilities, and
2. Owner’s goal is for the driveway to align with Thurm.
• The area between the property line and the driveway is to be sodded.
• The force main will be placed at a depth of 4-6 ft.
All agreed there appears to be no conflict.
Jeff will follow up with a letter to Tom Hermansen.

Can we get together to discussion this request. We have been in
discussions w David and Todd about jointly applying to FDOT for a light
at the Thurm intersection.
If we were to be successful in that attempt it would impact the
location of this easement.
We need to plan accordingly if any changes are required.

At your earliest convenience, we would also like to
discuss the City easement through your property located at 8550
Astronaut Boulevard. If you recall, we expanded this easement many years
ago for the future installation of Force Main No. 3. At the time, you
had requested that we install the force main at least 15 feet in depth.
However, we would ask that you reconsider this requirement so that the
replacement force main can be installed at a depth of 4-6 feet.
Installation of the force main at a depth of 15 feet or more would make
any future repairs virtually impossible whereas repairs could be easily
