HomeMy WebLinkAboutProposed sewer easement and proposed auto parking areaTodd,
ATTACHED (sewer easement exhibit) is the drawing of the proposed sewer
easement that we received from the HI Express Developer.
If this project moves forward, we hope that Columbia Road will be
extended south through Tom H.’s 175 foot wide
Property and into our 16 acres it will open up the Port’s ability to
utilize the 16 acre parcel. We have some environmental
Issues to investigate.
If we are successful, one of our proposed uses for the area to the east
of the sewer easement and extended road
would be to utilize the east 8.5 acres for expansion of the Autoports
importing and exporting of cars.
We see this as a temporary (5 year or so) use, thus my initial plan
would be limit any paving the property and thus
look at the idea of stabilizing the area with shell or rock. SEE
ATTACHED.
Before we go too far with this idea, we would like to get a initial
review by the City of Cape Canaveral.
By the way, the roll out of the final Master Plan for the Port is
scheduled to be rolled out
to the Public on October 18th at 9am to 12 noon. You may want to
attend. Pretty exciting.
Call will any questions.
