HomeMy WebLinkAboutSt Johns Watermanagerment Port discharge into OceanDave: I walked out of the meeting with everybody’s card but cannot find them this morning. Can you give us the contact for Rob (private) and Mark (St. Johns). I told Tom and Todd about our discussion about discharging into the ocean vs the river. We want to pursue an overall private/public storm water master plan for our area since I walked out of the meeting hearing that there was at least a 50% reduction in retention area needed if we outflow to the ocean (port), not to mention direct benefits to the lagoon. Todd thought I was kidding when I suggested we reverse the flow of Cape Canaveral River, but why not. It would help the lagoon and the lagoon needs all the help it can get. I believe Tom and I will lead the charge, we will keep Todd informed and if he sees a public benefit then the City will join the fry when they are sure of public benefit.
