HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Cape Canaveral Hotel - Homewood Suites Site PlanJean, The City has an easement at the west end of the Homewood Suites parcel (see attached). But we have no ownership and/or control of the portion of the sewer line from where it exits the building to our easement. If your pressure main crosses any portion of any given private property (outside of easements), it would need to be done with approval of the given private property owner and the line would be the responsibility of the private parties, in accordance with whatever agreement the parties may come to. You can contact the Homewood Suites about the matter - but we can’t compel cooperation. My suggestion is to contact: Mark Robbins markr@lbapropoerties.com <mailto:markr@lbapropoerties.com> Sincerely, Todd <http://www.cityofcapecanaveral.org/> Launch your connection… <https://www.facebook.com/CityofCapeCanaveral> <https://www.instagram.com/cityofcapecanaveral/> <https://www.linkedin.com/company/city-of-cape-canaveral-the> <https://twitter.com/CapeCanaveralFL> From: Jean Abi-Aoun [mailto:JAbiAoun@feg-inc.us] Sent: Monday, February 27, 2017 2:03 PM To: Todd Morley <T.Morley@cityofcapecanaveral.org> Cc: 'rstubbs@danielcorporation.com' <rstubbs@danielcorporation.com>; Daniel Esden <desden@danielcorporation.com>; Greg Crawford <GCrawford@feg-inc.us>; Laila Witwicky <lailaw@danielcorporation.com> Subject: Cape Canaveral Hotel - Homewood Suites Site Plan Hi Todd; We have investigated tying into the existing sewer system of the Homewood Suites Hotel sewer based on the as-built plans you helped provide us with. This will save us from going through Imperial and shorten the force main run. I am not sure if the City does have any utility easement over the sewer as we could potentially directional drill about 200 feet, from SR A1A, within the Homewood Suites Hotel parking area to connect to the sewer main assuming the Hotel owner and City agree. Let me know your feedback on this approach. Thanks Jean Abi-Aoun, P.E., Vice President, LEED® AP 5127 S.
