HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW Hotels Motels for Sewer StudyJoe, Here’s the response from Cocoa. Let me know asap, if this is a showstopper----------what do we need to get this thing moving? Also, are you assuming that these hotels and suites do not have kitchenettes, etc.???? Let’s get over the hump here. The coding of commercial is for the billing rate. Typically the rate structure embraces multi-family, commercial, governmental, schools, hotels, vacant land, etc. – it’s a catch all for everything that isn’t in the residential rate structure. I’d rather not establish a new “rental” class if the rates are identical to that of commercial because that’s a new subset of rate codes I have to maintain. If you are going to introduce a new rate structure that bills differently then we will need to explore. However the code for Cape Canaveral defines these entities as falling in the Rental Property category. As a result, to stay in line with our code(Attached) this warrants the classification to be changed to Rental for: The Radisson, Country Inn Suites, Cape Caribe, Residence Inn, and Homewood Suites. Based on this , Obviously, the study done by Raftelis in February 2012 did not inquire, mention or take this into account. I am glad this has been brought to my attention, but my predecessors were unaware of this. I recommend we update these accounts………………………..any thoughts here? Thanks, John P.S.--------I believe we are coming to an end for this study---------Raftelis-------------seems to have everything they need--------aside from these codes being updated. <http://www.cityofcapecanaveral.org/> Launch your connection… <https://www.facebook.com/CityofCapeCanaveralC:/Users/j.deleo/Documents/ Custom%20Office%20Templates> <https://www.instagram.com/cityofcapecanaveral/> <https://www.linkedin.com/company/city-of-cape-canaveral-the> <https://twitter.com/CapeCanaveralFL> Florida has a very broad public records law.
