HomeMy WebLinkAboutSewer Easement July 19, 2016 Good Morning. Mr. Dubea, Mr. Todd Morley Director of Economic Development City of Cape Canaveral has informed me that he recently met with you and other Port Officials and that Port Canaveral is not opposed to discussing a potential sewer easement through Port property which could allow us to construct a hotel on City property. We understand that Port Canaveral has expressed sewer capacity concerns and we are engaging a local engineering consulting firm (Allen Engineering) to investigate and provide a solution that would not exacerbate those concerns. The solution will likely require a connection to City sewer west of A1A. However, an easement remains a critical need. A potential sewer easement route through Port property west of the subject property (below) would provide access to the FDOT ROW. From there, we can seek a connection on the west. We would welcome a meeting with you or your designee so that we can discuss the terms of an easement agreement that would be to our mutual benefit. Please let me know how and when we can facilitate a meeting. Your assistance would be most appreciated. Please feel free to call me to further discuss in advance of a meeting.
