I would like to introduce you to Leslie Stopka. She is
with Lucky’s Market, a fun natural foods specialty grocery that is
headquartered in Boulder, CO with 18 locations open nationwide. They are
considering Space Coast expansion opportunities and I’ve provided her
with your contact info and the following about the former NSLD facility:
It is an existing building with SR A1A frontage that was
built for the shuttle program. This is where they built the parts for
the shuttles. It was designed with the advanced thinking that someday
the shuttle program would wind down and the building would be repurposed
as a multiuse storefront. Not at an intersection, prime A1A frontage,
more than enough floor space, plenty of parking, no on-site stormwater
to be constructed/maintained, straightforward remodel/no tear down.
Lucky’s Market info packet attached. This would be a
very welcome addition to the City of Cape Canaveral!
