Thanks – this is very strange. The as-built elevations are almost
“spot-on” with the design drawings. I don’t know how they ended up 14
inches off?

Our stub-out invert is slightly less than 6 feet below grade. That is
fairly deep for almost the end of the sewer. I recall matching the
invert to meet their needs during design phase. I will look into this
further on Monday.
Thanks,

This will have to be investigated. John Pekar had looked at this
last week – there was about a 2-3 inch difference, which is not an
issue. We’ll have to get more details from their engineer.
Thanks,

Joyce and Jeff,
FYI –
I got a call from Mark Robbins (954.770.3022) with the Homewood
Suites hotel late this afternoon.
They are trying to tie-into our sewer this weekend.
He explained that there is a problem with the elevation of the
sewer lines.
The City line is approximately 14” higher than they expected. If
they tie in as is, their line will be approximately flat.
He said it appears to be related to different base elevations
(NGVD) used by Droor and Tetratech.
Not sure what the solution is going to be – just wanted you to
be aware.
