Todd Morley from the City of Cape Canaveral called me this afternoon to
inquire if the Port has any
Objection/concern with the City of CC including the parcel noted below
(the land south of the 26 acres)
In the City’s overlay District.
Todd indicates that nothing really changes as to the Zoning and the
Overlay simply expands the uses that
could be approved for this site.

The goal is simply to capitalize on Port Canaveral’s growth.

When you get to the webpage, select Ordinance No. 07-2015.
As we discussed, the expanded map didn’t cover the two parcels in
question – but there’s really no reason not to. Hermansen wants in.
We understand there are regulations that will need to be adhered to on
all the IITF land.
