HomeMy WebLinkAboutEconomic Development - Cape CanaveralGood Afternoon Darren, I am the Economic Development Director for the City of Cape Canaveral. Tom Hermansen provided me with your contact info. Congratulations on your acquisition! I’m glad to hear that Pat Looney remains on site as General Manager. I’ve enjoyed working with Pat for several years. I’d like to welcome you to the Community and let you know that the City is very interested in working with our hoteliers towards programs that are mutually beneficial and well, just anything that you may need from the City. Consider our doors and minds always open to you. I’d like to drop by the Residence Inn Cape Canaveral and introduce Mr. Looney to Gustavo Vergara, Cape Canaveral’s Leisure Services Director. We have many low cost/high interest recreation programs that will be valuable to many of your hotel guests (tennis, racquetball, farmers market, etc.). We’d like to increase the exposure of our offerings. My thoughts are to set a short appointment with Pat to go over the programs (very general/high level) and leave some trifold fliers for the registration desk. From there, Gustavo’s Staff will stop by from time to time to make sure Hotel Staff is familiar with the programs and restock fliers. Thoughts? Anything we can do for you? Thanks!
