MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 30, 2017
A Meeting of the Culture and Leisure Services Board was held on November 30, 2017, at the
Nancy Hanson Recreation Complex, 7300 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida. The
meeting was called to Order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairperson Gene Petre, The Secretary called the roll,

ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS:
Approval of Meeting Minutes of September 28, 2017
Motion by Mr. Schoenholz to approve Meeting Minutes of September 28, 2017 as written,
seconded by Mr. Raymond. Vote on the motion carried unanimously.
Space Coast Arts Festival Event Recap
Mr. Vergara updated Board Members on Space Coast Arts Festival (SCAF), answered questions.
• Organizers deemed the event a success.
• SCAF board identified areas of improvement for next year.
OLD BUSINESS:
• Mr. Petre inquired about vandalism policies and procedures.
• Mr. Schoenholz commended the increased police presence in parks,
• Mr. Petre requested update on Community Garden and Farmers Market.
• Ms. Kellum inquired about the status of Cherie Down Park acquisition.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Mr. Vergara announced the installation of Zagster bike rental amenity.
• Mr. Petre inquired about the feasibility of bicycling licensing.
The next meeting n[the Culture and Leisure Services Board is scheduled for Thursday, January
25, 2010, 5:30p.ou. u\the Nancy Hanson Recreation Complex.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:33 p.m.
