Good Afternoon Mr. Petty,
The empty parking lot across the street just East of PDR property
(Radisson) will be the main parking for this event. With close to 500
available parking spaces marked on a site plan created on AutoCAD to be
as close to scale as possible, this makes it the ideal primary location
for people to be able to walk to the event. A small section of Mr.
Ringdahl’s property closest to West central, will also be used for
parking provided the area is dry enough to support traffic. Close to 70
spaces were mapped out for this location. The Space Coast Art Festival
also has permission to use the Craig Technology Parking lot off A1A
should they need it. This lot offers close to 500 parking spaces as
well. There will be no general parking at Manatee Sanctuary Park outside
of handicap.
A continuous shuttle will be picking people up at the Radisson parking
lot and transporting them to the park.
Traffic flow will be controlled by BCSO. 5 EMS standby personnel will
be on site for the entirety of the event.
This will be the first time the City hosts the event and we don’t know
exactly what to expect, but the amount of vendors as of last count is
about ½ of what it has always been. This will be the year that
determines a lot of what happens over the next 4.

Hi Todd,
As someone being on the board, and a resident, at Puerto Del Rio
Condominium Association, Inc., I am concerned about the parking
situation near Manatee Park over the weekend. We have had residents
express concern regarding the same.
Janet Ringdahl alerted us that there are actions planned to address the
issue, but some folks have asked whether parking across A1A and busing
people to the site at Manatee Park would be used as part of the plan.
Since I am not sure of the entire plan, could you please tell us what is
planned for parking. I'm sure there is not enough "close" parking and
Puerto Del Rio would look like an inviting area.
