- What is the status of the transfer of ownership of Puerto
del Rio Drive? I see that the item to authorize CMO to execute the
transfer was approved at the August 16, 2016 Council Meeting. - Although
the transfer was approved, the closing has been delayed due to the
density ordinance which was approved at the last Council meeting. The
legal team from the PDR HOA is fully aware; Mr. Sloot is welcome to
reach out to them for further details. The process is still ongoing and
both the City attorney and HOA are working on a closing date.
- Who owns the sidewalk between Puerto del Rio Drive and the
Soccer Field at Banana River Park? The City owns and maintains the
actual sidewalk. Irrigation for PDR comes from the City side and when
breakages have happened to the line, PDR and the City have worked
together to make the necessary repairs
- Who is the legal owner of the Banana River Lagoon, itself?
The State of Florida
- Who is responsible if it overflows its banks/floods? Just as
when the ocean rises above expected levels during extreme high tides /
storms and floods private beachfront homes / condos, the owner is
responsible for flooding of their property. No one is responsible for
the river rising or receding above or below certain levels.

Hall with a few questions, and I was hoping we could get him some
answers:
- What is the status of the transfer of ownership of Puerto
del Rio Drive? I see that the item to authorize CMO to execute the
transfer was approved at the August 16, 2016 Council Meeting.
- Who owns the sidewalk between Puerto del Rio Drive and the
Soccer Field at Banana River Park?
- Who is the legal owner of the Banana River Lagoon, itself?
Who is responsible if it overflows its banks/floods?
