HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Potential Fence (10)Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. The fence, by the way, will be 3
sections and only about 3 feet high. Do you have any guidelines and/or
listing of projects that need permitting so we can stay on top of things
more easily?
Thanks, Jay

Subject: Potential Fence
Hi Mike,
As you are aware, we have been able to attack the riverbank
erosion by having coquina rock applied to the bank. There have been
many instances of people from the Banana River Park area walking from
the Park onto our rock along the river. We are concerned that their
passage onto the rock can result in falls and liability on the part of
Puerto Del Rio Condominium Association. We presently have a sign near
the rock area which does not seem to be acknowledged.
We would like to install a fence divider of 3-4 sections from
the river up the bank to aid discouraging walking on the rocks and
Puerto Del Rio property. There would be the Puerto Del Rio sign at the
end of the fence line.
Is there a need for a permit from the City of Cape Canaveral to
allow the fence installation? I appreciate and look forward to your
reply.
Thank you,
Jay Petty
