HomeMy WebLinkAboutGarage Door OpenersHi Mike, I hope your experience with the hurricane wasn't too hectic and that you and family are safe. It surely was an event that has stirred the city and community. Following the hurricane, we had no power. As a result, we had garage doors open as they could not operate automatically. With them open, Mr. Bobinski evidently felt he had the opportunity to investigate all garages and investigate openers and take pictures. He was reminded that he did not belong in other buildings. I'm making you aware since we have recently sent him demands to pay for the damage to the garage door in his building. So, he may be searching to establish his "case" to not pay. We presently have removed all openers that were labeled to install above 8' and installed "residential" openers. However, we have no plans to replace the openers installed prior to last year, except as necessary. They will be replaced by the "residential" models. We have already done this in B/1 (8954 Puerto Del Rio Dr.) in the south garage. Hopefully, we are still within expected guidelines, and that nothing "new" has developed regarding openers to be used.
