Subject: Cape Canaveral- Puerto Del Rio Road Closing
Hi Laura,
Just an FYI, the city council approved the density vesting ordinances
on Tuesday. The Comp Plan ordinance will be effective in 31 days unless
challenged. Upon becoming effective, staff will be expeditiously
finalizing all the data necessary to propose density vesting
certificates for all eligible condo projects. It may take a few months
to compile that data. At that time, the city intends to address Puerto
Del Rio and factor in the future road conveyance to the City (reduce the
project acreage) for purposes of determining the vested certificate
necessary for existing units at Puerto Del Rio.
All eligible condo associations will be getting a letter from the city
requesting data and documents to implement the ordinance in the very
near future.
Because timing is currently uncertain, I write so we can keep the
closing deadline in mind. If necessary, we can extend the closing to
coincide with the vesting certificate process.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Regards,
Anthony A. Garganese
