HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Puerto Del Rio (19)Hi Mike, thanks for the reply and information. When folks in the
building see or hear people there, they will ask questions. The info
will help regarding answering inquiries.
I want to be able to move ahead without angst.
Thanks again,
Jay

Hello Jay,
I believe they may be continuing to do the painting that we shut
down last week, not sure. The permit will probably be posted inside the
unit, and that is ok as long as it is there for the inspector to access.
They may have more work to complete before calling for us to come out.
Their scope of work indicated work that will require inspection prior to
covering. I would expect to be receiving a call for inspection before
fairly soon.
Thanks, Mike

Hello Mike, thank you for your reply to my email. I see that the
"red tag" is removed. However, I don't see any permit(s) posted. Were
there or will there be inspections before he is to continue work? There
has been a van parked outside that has been used by the person who was
working there previously. There is no answer when knocking on the unit
door. I don't want to simply aggravate the situation, and I would like
to allow work to continue, but I need to assure safety of other
residents and integrity of the building. Not having been through a
similar situation, what should I expect?
Thank you,
Jay Petty

Hello Mr. Petty,
The permit was issued today and the red tag can be
removed. Permit posting are supposed to be posted in a conspicuous place
at the job site protected from the elements until completion of the
project. He may now continue the work and can continue providing all
inspections are approved.
Hope this answers your questions. If I can be of any
other assistance my contact information is below.
