HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Banana River Park leak (9)Hi. I am the Treasurer at Puerto Del Rio condos. I see in your email you referred to a shoreline restoration meeting..... can I ask what the city is pursuing on the riverbank? I only ask because I am working on our riverbank restoration. I have been in contact with St. John's river management, and have obtained paperwork from them for appropriate permits. We have had one contractor give us an estimate on revetments. I also have applied for FEMA . Can you tell me what you're doing, and maybe we can coordinate our efforts. I can see the leak from my balcony. FYI, it's located on the south side of the northern park exit. It is very near the "Do Not Enter Sign", which got push a little sideways during the hurricane. It's possible that the sign may have push, damaged, and ultimately broke the waterline. Hopefully it can be reached by digging into the ground beside the pavement. > > Gustavo, I've copied Will Hurley on this. He's our expert on the sprinkler system and knows where the lines run. He also knows and has worked with your contractor, Bobby Chasin, also copied. I also copied Bill Kuntz who's our other expert maintenance guy to give him a heads up. This could be a team effort as we all have played well together during park improvements. Just an idea. > > Bill B. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Gustavo Vergara [mailto:G.Vergara@cityofcapecanaveral.org] > Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2016 9:56 AM > To: 'ssgre90@att.net'; 'Bill Bedwell (bbedwell2@cfl.rr.com)' > Subject: Banana River Park leak > > > > > > > Good Moring Ms. Gordon, > > We found a leak on the base of the asphalt at Banana River Park and were able to ascern they were from your sprinkler system.
