The issue has been reported to Code Enforcement by copy to the Director
of Community Development and the Building Official. Beyond that, it is
up to you to follow up with Supervisor of Elections or the State.
Thank you

David,
my plan is to respond to Angela in the AM to inform her that
Code Enforcement will handle any violations to the City sign ordinance.
Beyond that she must follow up with the Supervisor of Elections or
Election Commission
Thank you
Mia

Mr. Greene; I notice you may not of been copied on this
note to Mia. This is a disappointing way for our candidates' to begin.
Have any of our sign ordinances changed for this election year? Or is
one of them reading an out of date reference? Thanks, Rocky

Subject: Wes Morrison's Putting His Campaign Signs up
Two Weeks Early
One of our residents came to me after 10:15 Mass today
at Our Saviour's Church. I have never seen this gentleman so upset
since I've known him. He told me Wes Morrison erected his political
signs two weeks ahead of their assigned date for the Nov. 7 election.
According to the Regulations for Temporary Signs in the city, these
signs should be placed 30 days prior to the Election Day. If my
calculations are correct, October 7 would be the appointed time to erect
these signs. What is the penalty for disregarding these regulations?
Will the Code Enforcement staff of our city enforce this rule? If a
candidate cannot abide by the Election regulations, how can he operate
on the City Council within the framework of our government and all of
our ordinances???? Angela Raymond
