RE: Transferring of Contract and associated projects from QLH to Mead & Hunt, Inc.
Dear Mr. Greene,
We are pleased to announce that Quentin L. Hampton, Associates, Inc. (QLH) has merged with Mead
& Hunt, Inc. (Mead & Hunt) as of June 30, 2017.
This merger will increase the service offerings and capabilities available to our clients, but will not
change the personnel assigned to your projects or affect the personalized service you have come to
expect from QLH. All QLH employees have been retained and their roles and terms of service have
not changed. We are requesting to exercise the assignment terms of the current engineering services
contract(s), as written. The agreement allows for assignment with written consent of the City per the
assignment paragraph on page 9. (copy attached)
Mead & Hunt, an employee-owned corporation, provides professional services in architecture,
engineering, planning, and historic preservation to diverse markets including dams and hydropower,
food and beverage processing, military, municipal infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation
(aviation, highways and bridges) and water resources throughout the United States. Founded in 1900,
the firm employs about 600 employees from more than 30 offices located across the nation.
Please find enclosed two Contract Assignments for your signature. Please sign and return in the self-
addressed stamped envelope and keep one for your records. If you have any questions regarding the
