On 1-23-17, the City received your request to update the online Public
Records Requests(PRR)/Oak Lane folder. As a result, an additional PRR
folder for 2017 has been created. The City Clerk’s Office received the
first of three rather sizeable requests for records involving Oak Lane
in October 2016. The City continued and finished filling the Oak Lane
PRR folder up until 11-22-16. All PRRs have a start and finish and are
not kept open ad infinitum.
We anticipate completing your Public Records Request of Monday, 1-23-17
by 1-27-17. You will then receive a similar email to the attached
herewith. After that, each request for records will be handled in the
same fashion and could be subject to the City requiring a deposit from
you for estimated work, depending on the amount of time Staff will need
to fulfill the request/s.
Also, note a folder marked City Council within the 2017 folder under
Oak Lane. There you will find an email with the notes attached from
Mayor Pro Tem McMillin. I phoned each City Council Member to request
they forward any records, electronic or paper, in their possession not
previously turned in to the City since November 2016. Mayor Pro Tem
McMillin and Council Member Randels were the only ones who had records
pertaining to your request. Mayor Hoog added the certified letter
mentioned in your email.
Additionally, you will soon be receiving correspondence from the City
regarding the list of questions you mention below from Mr. Dickey.

Mia,
On 8/25/2016 You, David Dickey, John Deleo and myself were present when
David Dickey said he would answer written questions I had submitted to
him the day before within 5 to 7 days. On 10/14/2016 I sent David Dickey
a reminder to answer the question. Again on 10/18/2016 I reminded David
Dickey because of the upcoming hearing. On 10/18/2016 while we were
conducting business at the park bench in front of city hall you informed
me David Dickey was working on it that morning. It is now 1/23/2016 with
no answer. Can you please have the City Attorney supply me with the
exact statutory citation authorizing the denial as required by s.
119.07(1)(d), F.S. for David Dickey’s refusal?
The Oak Lane Public Records request folder has not been updated for a
while. Can you please update it and include the notes taken at the
meeting by Mayor Pro Tem Brendan McMillin with the residents of Oak Lane
on 11/17/2016.
