HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Plans for Oak Lane - Public Records RequestDear Ms. Goforth: Thank you so much for all these documents. I have found them on the city website , but did have trouble opening them. I have a Mac, so maybe that was the problem. I have asked a friend for help and that has been successful. Now that I see these, I request a few additional documents . 1. I would like to have any records identified in the email with the subject line “Oak Lane potential exhibits for hearing.” 2. I request any and all surveys, site plans, and or boundary surveys for any property abutting Oak Lane. 3. I request any and all records relating to the lot at the end of the road, the three-acre one currently for sale. 4. I request any communications to or from Don Haynes. I am particularly interested in meetings he may have had with the city engineer and any documents about easements. Again, it would be fine to receive these in email. I would prefer that you use something other than .msg since I cannot open them myself. Thank you again for your help and for all those in the city who helped as well. In your original request below, you state " I would like to have a copy of any correspondence with any person or entity regarding the development of Oak Lane". At this point we’re not sure how large the amount of records will be, but we do need to know how you would like these "copies". Below are options for you to choose from: > > 1. The drawings are being reviewed by City Public Works Staff. The apparent boundary lines were used for this project. This effort only includes existing City right-of-way as indicated by a review of recorded property deeds. He said he was unaware of anything in writing , and he called you on the phone, and relayed your response, which was that there was nothing in writing or to see at this time. He explained that the process is that a contractor can make such plans and then the city reviews them. Brian Palmer said that perhaps a contractor with the name of John Picar ( if I heard that correctly) might be working on such plans. > > > > > > I realize that I was probably not precise enough in what I was asking, so here are my additional questions. > > > > > > Is there a contractor currently working on such plans? If so, what is his name? Who has hired him to do so? Has the City hired a person or tasked a person within city staff to assess options for the road? These options could include the following: preliminary engineering plans, improvements, streetscape, sidewalks, reclaimed water, paving, and other options. > > > > > > I would like to have a copy of any correspondence with any person or entity regarding the development of Oak Lane. > > > > > > Thank you for your help with matter. > > > > > > Sincerely, > > > > > > Kathryn Seidel > > > tel. 321-368-1833 > > > Florida has a very broad public records law.
