HomeMy WebLinkAboutChange Order #1 MemoPublic Works Services Memo TO: John DeLeo Finance Director FROM: Jeff Ratliff PWS Director DATE: 05/15/14 RE: Change Order – Engineering Design Oxidation Ditch Improvement Project TetraTech has requested a change order in the amount of $37,176 to the referenced engineering design project. This is due to a number of factors including: Staff has elected to replace the surface aerators in the oxidation ditch – replacement was not included in the original scope of work. This increases the scope of work to include additional sections and details, electrical plans, yard piping sections, etc. Staff has elected to add a cover to the improved oxidation ditch to eliminate overspray at the WWTP as well as offsite to the east. This also increases the scope of work for project completion. The proposed change order increases the project budget to $178,657 – which is approximately 6.9% of estimated project construction costs (see attached Opinion of Probable Cost). TetraTech’s Amendment No. 1 to Task Order No. 4 is also attached. Thanks.
